Consistently good experience with Glide

I've been using Glide for a while now for various small projects, and I have to say, the consistency is what keeps me coming back. My first few orders were for a couple of internal tools, and the build process was pretty smooth, as advertised. This latest one was for a client's simple inventory tracker, and it was just as reliable. The no-code aspect really speeds things up, which is crucial when you're on a deadline. Sometimes the more advanced AI features can be a bit fiddly to get just right, but that's a minor thing. Overall, it's a solid platform that delivers.

Really impressed with Glide!

Okay, so I finally decided to give Glide a try for a small project at work. I'm not exactly a tech wizard, you know? But I heard good things about no-code stuff and figured, why not. Setting it up was surprisingly easy, even for me. I managed to get a basic app running in like, an hour? No joke. It actually does what I needed it to do without me having to learn a bunch of complicated code. Pretty happy with it, honestly. Might even try building something a bit more complex next time.

Decent, but room to grow

Finally decided to give Glide a try for a small internal tool I needed. The no-code builder itself is pretty intuitive once you get the hang of it – I was able to put together a basic app quicker than I expected. That part was a positive experience, honestly. The templates are a good starting point too, saved me some time. However, I did run into a few snags. The performance can be a bit sluggish at times, especially when adding more complex logic or data sources. It's not a deal-breaker for simple apps, but for something more robust, it could become frustrating. Also, I had a question about integrating with a specific API, and customer support took nearly two days to get back to me. When they did, the answer was helpful, but the wait was longer than I would have liked. Overall, it's a solid 3/5 for me. Good potential, just needs some refinement.

Easy to use

Needed something quick for a small project at work. Glide was actually pretty straightforward. Got my app running without any fuss. Saved me a bunch of time. Will definitely use again if another project comes up.

Decent for quick app building

I finally decided to give Glide a try for a small internal tool I needed at work. The ordering process was pretty straightforward on their website, no real hiccups there. Delivery, well, it's a digital product so that was instant, which is always nice. The builder itself is fairly intuitive, I'd say. I managed to get a basic app up and running in an afternoon, which is impressive for someone with zero coding background. My main gripe is that some of the more advanced features feel a bit clunky to implement, and I had to dig through their help docs quite a bit. Support was okay – I sent a query about a specific data integration and got a response the next morning, which is reasonable. Overall, it's a solid platform for rapid development, but don't expect it to be perfectly smooth if you're trying to do anything slightly complex. Still, for what I needed, it got the job done.

Good for quick projects

Needed something fast for a small internal tool at work. Glide was pretty easy to get started with. The drag-and-drop interface is straightforward. Had a minor issue with data syncing to a Google Sheet once, but it sorted itself out after a refresh. For quick apps, it's definitely a time-saver.

Glad I held out for a good deal!

I'm always on the lookout for ways to save a few bucks, especially with new tech. Glide came highly recommended for AI no-code builders, but I wasn't going to just jump in without checking for a deal. Waited it out for a bit, and BOOM, saw an offer for a discount on their annual plan. That sealed the deal for me. The savings made it totally worth the purchase, honestly. I've been playing around with it for a week now, and it's way more intuitive than I expected. Feels like I got a really good value for my money. Definitely happy I waited for the right moment to buy. Will probably renew next year if they keep the good offers coming.

Decent for simple apps, but has limits

Finally decided to give Glide a try for a small internal tool at work. The drag-and-drop interface is pretty intuitive, I'll give them that. Got a basic app up and running for inventory tracking in a few hours, which was surprisingly fast. It connected to our Google Sheet without much fuss, which is a big plus since we use those a lot. However, I ran into some limitations when I tried to add more complex logic. Things like conditional visibility based on multiple factors or custom actions felt a bit clunky to set up, or just not possible without a lot of workarounds. For really simple stuff, it's great, but if you need something with a bit more customisation, you might hit a wall. Delivery of the product (access to the builder) was immediate, obviously, since it's an online service. Customer support was okay when I had a question about data sources; took about a day for a reply, which is reasonable.

Total waste of time and money

Honestly, I'm pretty annoyed with Glide. I bought into the whole AI No-Code thing because my friend Simran told me it was supposed to make things super easy for building apps without all the coding hassle. Yeah, right. I spent a good chunk of time trying to get even the most basic stuff working, and it was just a nightmare. The interface felt clunky and nothing was intuitive for me. Every time I thought I was making progress, I'd hit another wall. Eventually, I just gave up. It felt like I wasted my money and a lot of my weekend trying to figure out something that was advertised as simple. Definitely not recommending this to anyone.

Good for quick projects

I've been using Glide for a few months now, mostly for internal tools at work. It's pretty consistent, I have to say. My first couple of orders went smoothly, and this time was no different when I needed to spin up something for a new client. The interface is familiar, which is a big plus for me since I don't have time to learn a new system every other week. Sometimes I wish there were a few more advanced features without having to jump through hoops, but for getting a basic app going fast, it's reliable. I keep coming back for that reason.

Does Glide ever do Black Friday sales?

E EmailSubscriber 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
I signed up for their newsletter ages ago and sometimes they send out small offers. Nothing massive though.

Yeah, usually just annual billing reminders.

They had something a couple years ago, I think? But it wasn't a huge percentage off, more like extra features for a lower tier.

I missed that one.

Hmm, hoping for a straight up discount this year.

There's a startup program discount too, if you qualify. That's probably better than waiting for a sale.

Anyone got a working Glide promo code right now?

Yeah, seems like annual is the only real 'discount' they push.
